Case Studies of PuriGator Success Stories

Toolamation Inc. collaborated with technical assistance specialists from the Waste Management and Research Center (WMRC) to evaluate the metal working fluid (MWF) oil removal system and soluble-oil vs. semi-synthetic MWFs. A Grease Gator Fluid Purifier was installed. The floating tramp oils were immediately removed from the soluble-oil preventing the tramp oils from emulsifying in the MWF. This deprived the MWF from additional nutrients that would support bacteria growth. Read more . . .

General Motors Allison Transmission Plant: Grease Gator Fluid Purifiers and oil skimmers were successfully tested on 3 sumps with 2 different coolants types. The Grease Gator Purifier extended coolant life greater than 3 times. Click here for a slideshow.

Mid-size Machining Company: The Grease Gator Fluid Purifier and oil skimmer system has been evaluated by a mid-size machining company (150 employees) that makes parts for Caterpillar, Mitsubishi and other equipment manufacturers. The below before and after pictures show a "mini" centralized coolant system, where castings are machined and the coolants are returned to this collection area. The Grease Gator Coolant Purifier System is adaptable for both single sump and large central sumps, so every company either large or small is a candidate for this program. The Grease Gator process changes the waste stream from a oily/coolant which not only wastes the coolant but also has a disposal cost, into a used oil stream that has BTUs and value. The Grease Gator Coolant Purifier System reduces chemical use and reduces disposal costs. Not only good for the environment but good for your business bottom line.
